A Fresh Approach to Sales Comparison (5 Hours)

This course is designed to expand the appraiser’s working knowledge of the sales comparison approach. Appraisers will gain a greater understanding of the sales comparison approach methodology and the use of data. The growing availability of big data and statistics are becoming more readily available to those who review appraisal reports and underwrite loans. As a result, the sales comparison approach is coming under heavier scrutiny, requiring appraisers to validate data and adjustments in their reports at a higher level. Given that, this course will prepare appraisers with an arsenal of knowledge to produce highly supportable and defensible appraisal reports.
