need a license to sell
real estate in PA. To get
a license, you must pass a
state exam. To qualify to
take the state exam, you
must take and pass 60
hours of sales
license courses. |

|
If
you already have a license
to sell real estate in PA,
it must be renewed every
two years, by May 31 of
each even-numbered year.
To qualify for renewal,
you must take 14 hours of continuing
education. |

|
|
|
|
To
become a broker in PA, you
must have 3 years of
documented experience as a
licensed real estate
salesperson, and you must
pass a state exam. To
qualify to take the state
exam, you must take and
pass 240 hours of broker
license courses. |

|
|
|
If
you are already certified to
appraise real estate in PA,
it must be renewed every

each odd-numbered year.
