1) When you click on the
"Download it now" text
hyperlink below, you will be taken to
the ColoradoSoft website. Once there,
click on the "Free Download"
link under "WorldMerge" and
follow the instructions. The program
operates only under Windows 95 or 98
(sorry, Mac users!). Your
browser software will suggest that you
save the file to disk, and will ask
you to specify the subdirectory where
the file will be saved.
2) Download the file. It is about 3
Mb in compressed size, and takes 13
minutes or less to download at a modem
speeds of 28.8K and higher. Please
note the subdirectory where the file
was saved, so you can find it easily
later.
3) Once the file has successfully
downloaded, close your Internet
connection and go off-line. Open
Windows' Explorer and find the
downloaded file. Double click on the
file (left mouse button) to begin the
installation process. Follow and
finish the installation instructions
that appear on-screen. Installation
takes less than a minute. Installation
places four icons in your Start Menu:
WorldMerge (for the program), Online
Help, Online Registration, and
Fax-Mail Registration.
4) This fully working program will
operate for 30 days from the date of
installation, after which the trial
period will expire. Registration and
purchase -- by online, fax or the U.S.
Postal Service -- is necessary
to use the program beyond the 30-day
trial. The program costs just $39.95,
and represents a real value for all it
can help you do.
