Quality management will determine success and failure now more than time in
recent decades. When people choose a management role, they leave the “real
estate business” and enter the “business of real estate.” Real estate
practitioners enter a new world when charged with the task of “driving” a
brokerage business. Areas of emphasis in this course include: The SCORE
Management System - a way to coordinate elements of a business so the result
is a “complete whole” rather than unassociated parts; a situational review
of laws regulating real estate brokerages; people management topics:
leadership and organizational climate, conflict resolution, problem solving,
initiating change, and motivation; discussions of topics all brokerage
businesses face.
This is a four-day, 30-hour course. It is Pennsylvania State Real Estate
Commission-developed for 2 credits towards broker's license requirements. It
fulfills ALL 14 hours of mandatory continuing education (MCE) required by the
Commission for salesperson's or broker's license renewal.
