investors and real estate professionals. This course aims to enable real
estate professionals to learn the essential fundamentals in helping their
customers and clients find, evaluate, acquire and negotiate real estate
investments. It also covers why real estate professionals themselves should
invest in their own product.
Real estate is a complex and dynamic enterprise that requires careful
applications to ensure prudent investment. This course also will enable real
estate professionals to apply techniques that help their customers and clients
make prudent real estate investment decisions. Coverage includes
unconventional financing sources, seller financing, installment contracts,
legal and tax issues; wrap, second and blanket mortgages; non-recourse
financing, self-directed IRAs as a source of financing, using equity partners,
loan packaging, negotiating with lenders, and refinancing and cash-outs.
This is a four-day, 30-hour course. It is Pennsylvania State Real Estate
Commission-developed for 2 credits towards broker's license requirements. It
fulfills ALL 14 hours of mandatory continuing education (MCE) required by the
Commission for salesperson's or broker's license renewal.
