Green Designation Requirements
Education and an exam. Experience. Membership.
In order to earn NAR’s Green Designation, the student must successfully complete the Core Course and one of three one-day
elective courses. Elective courses are Green Residential Real Estate, Green Commercial Real Estate, and Green Property Management. Because
the Green Designation core course qualifies for 1
broker credit issued by the Pennsylvania State Real Estate
Commission, an exam will be administered during the end of the
course's second day. A score of 80 or better on the exam is
considered a passing grade. After completing the Core and Elective Courses, fill out the
GREEN Application Form and send to
greendesignation@realtors.org.
Designees must be members (and maintain membership) in the National Association Of Realtors® either as a Realtors® member or Institute Affiliate member, as well as members of the
NAR Green Resource
Council.
