ALHS® Designation Requirements

Education and an exam. Experience. Membership.

Learners in Polley Associates' Accredited Luxury Home Specialist® (ALHS®) designation course must meet attendance requirements during the two-day live class, and successfully pass a 50-question exam with an 80-percent score or better, to complete the course.

To obtain their designation, learners also must sell two homes in the luxury home field during anytime before, or within 24 months after, taking the course. For designation purposes, a luxury home is defined as one for which the purchase price is at least two times the average sales price in a given market.

Designees also must maintain membership in good standing with the National Association of REALTORS® and The Luxury Home Council. Dues in the Luxury Home Council are $99 per year, but first-year fees are paid for by the council and Polley Associates!
