About The Course

"Giving Sellers The Power Of Staging" focuses on providing real estate professionals with a basis and solid overview of all key aspects about home staging. Home staging skills are not hard to comprehend. The skills can be quickly and easily learned just by following basic interior design principles, which are detailed during the course.

This Polley Associates' course also offers more than a very solid foundation in the art of staging a home for sale. Upon completing the course and passing a final examination, participants are awarded a certification as a "stagent." The certification, which is not a designation, shows consumers the learners' commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Created by professional home stager and interior designer Andy Capelluto, this course shows licensees how to help their clients stage their house for a faster sale. It won't turn licensees into professional stagers in just a day, but it will educate and empower them with knowledge of staging.

This is a full-day course. It fulfills 7 hours of the 14 hours of mandatory continuing education (MCE) required by the Pennsylvania State Real Estate Commission for salesperson's or broker's license renewal.

Why Staging Matters

Staging is a crucial important step needed to get a buyer interested in a house, because it allows them to visualize themselves living in the property. Gone are the days when licensees needed only to sell the benefits of the house. Buyers now have many choices, and sellers are looking for only the most qualified agent to list their house. Because competition is increasing, sellers must be prepared to present their home in the best possible light.

The Stagent Kit: Your Course Bonus

"Giving Sellers The Power Of Staging" supplies both the knowledge AND the tools to help you set the stage in real estate. Each learner receives a Stagent kit, shown above, to use during the course and take home afterward. It contains:

  1. 2-dimensional representations of furniture - everything from beds to sofas to tables and more - printed in color on heavy-duty magnetized vinyl. These pieces help you envision how furniture can be placed in a room ... without heavy lifting!
  2. A designer's per for drawing and note-taking.
  3. A grid-lined Power Of Staging notepad, on which you can draw floor plans that meet the needs and room sizes of specific clients.
  4. A magnetized board with pre-printed floor plans. And
  5. A handsome vinyl carrying case to contain it all.

All weekday classes 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (7 hours)
All night classes (where noted) 6:30-10 p.m. each of two days
All Saturday or Sunday classes (where noted) 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
